Pastor's Introductory Message
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (Heaven’s Gate), Saskatoon, Canada is the place you find direction for life and heaven. We are a group of God lovers who seek to know you and serve you and help you fulfill your God-given assignment on the face of the earth. It is a place of wholeness where you can find forgiveness of sins, soundness of mind and wholeness of spirit.
We are not just heaven-focused, but we strive to depend upon God to help us to be earthly relevant while maintaining focus on eternal things. We strive to be the change we want to see in our communities through evangelism and community service. We love you the way you are. Please join us and let the glory of God shine on you.

History
The RCCG Heaven’s Gate Saskatoon had its inaugural service on the 19th of December 2021.
Since the inaugural service, the Church has been growing in leaps and bounds to the glory of God.
Pastoral Team
Senior Pastors
Pastors Kayode & Adeola Alawonde
Pastor Kayode Alawonde is the parish pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Heaven’s gate, Saskatoon. Pastor Kayode joined the Redeemed Christian Church at the National headquarters where he also did his workers in training in 1996.
Prior to pastoring RCCG Heaven’s Gate Saskatoon, He was an associate Pastor at RCCG Jesus House for all nations Saskatoon. Pastor Kayode had previously pioneered RCCG, God’s shelter parish with his wife Adeola which grew to be an Area Headquarters. He has also pastored RCCG Dominion Sanctuary (as an Area Pastor), a parish in Lagos Province 1 under the National Headquarters in Nigeria and a host of other parishes also in Lagos Province 1.
The call of God on Pastor Kayode is to execute Judgement and Righteousness and to deliver the plundered from the hands of the oppressor. This is exactly what he strives to do through his assignment as a Parish pastor and call as a teacher of God’s word. Pastor Kayode leans on the grace of God to lay forth God’s word with great simplicity. Pastor Kayode is a Doctor of IT and his successful career as an astute IT professional has its foundations in a life given to biblical principles, which he eagerly shares on an ongoing basis.
Pastor Kayode Alawonde enjoys reading and walking. He is married to Adeola Remilekun and they are blessed with two lovely children.
Associate Pastors
Pastors Gbenga & Rachael Owojori
Gbenga (John) Owojori is the Associate Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Heaven’s Gate, Saskatoon. John joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God sometimes in 2006 when he relocated to South Africa with his family. He and his wife Rachael have been involved in several RCCG parishes cutting across several countries before the current assignment at the RCCG Heavens Gate, Saskatoon.
John is a teacher of the Word and believes that the Church is not the place for ‘perfect’ people but those who are perfected by God. With that he believes there is no place for anyone to boast, for all we are and we have are obtained by Gods mercy. Aside ministry, John is an academic and a serial business executive running a few businesses in Saskatoon where he and Rachael have lived for many years.
He is married to Rachael Owojori, a Saskatoon-based gospel artiste and they are blessed with three lovely boys.
